Loved it here!!! Strong and well priced drinks, great food, and cozy ambiance. Was pleasantly surprised walked in here how much I loved it. Definitely fancier than a dive bar but a great place for a bite to eat or event to watch a game
The front of house is low key bar but the back of house is a date night spot for sure. Just street parking and it’s busy.
Had a great meal and fantastic service before a Sunday show at the Moore. My friend and I shared the chicken quesadilla and the mini grilled cheese (yes! Mini grilled cheese!!) It was so good!! Our drinks were also made expertly. A large crowd came in (wedding party or something) and the bartender got a little swamped but she got right back on top of things quickly. There is a back room that was not open for seating but appears to have some water view. Vibe was cool and relaxing. We'll be back!
I walked here from my hotel with my father as it was near bye. We did not have a drink but did order some food. The food was very good and my soup in particular was amazing.
We had our Welcome Party before our wedding at Sonya’s and it was absolutely amazing!! I wish I had better pictures, but the back area is a huge space with wooden floors and a beautiful view of the water. Lucas and his team were amazing! They were so quick with the food and their chowder is hands down the best I’ve had in Seattle. All of our guests loved the food and had the best time. The bartender was also great and so quick with the drinks even with a party of over 40. I can’t say enough how impressed we were and will continue to recommend Sonya’s to anyone seeking an amazing space with great food and service.
This is one of those great hole in the wall dives that I love to find. It may look a little rough but it has some damn good food and the barkeep knows how to pour a drink! Definitely going to come back if I ever need to eat before an event.
Only enjoyed this cool locals hangout where you can meet up with friends or come by yourself and make a few new friends. It's kinda fun to sit out on the sidewalk setup, kinda like a retro street Bistro in Chicago. BTW the outside mood is very laid back with it's own set of rules, including smoking as long as it's on the up and up legal. I've tried samples of some of the food and it's always been consistent and hit the spot. Give it a try and enjoy for yourself.
